TORONTO BURLESQUE SHOW AND TRAINING

This past weekend was a busy and exciting one for me. Friday I had the priveledge to attend a 90min workshop at Aradia Fitness with super pole duo " Gravity Plays Favorites. " They were in town from St. Louis to perform at this years Toronto Burlesque Festival.

The duo, Michelle Mynx and Katrina Dohl are classically trained pole dancers and perform tandem pole tricks with a 'burlesquey' flair.

It was truly a pleasure, ( except for the bruises and pole burn I sustained ) , to meet and train with these lovely ladies. They are not only talented but also great teachers that are totally friendly and down to earth.

Saturday night I got to see them perform thier act at the Burlesque Ball held at the Mod Club Theatre. Thier costumes, makeup, lighting and music made them even more exciting and amazing to watch ! I was awestruck ! Thier blend of artistic talent and athleticism is beyond words. I was truly inspired. What a great experience! One that not only broadened my horizons but boosted my confidence and improved my pole skills too !!! I cant wait to share all that I took away from this cool weekend with all my RockNPolers !!!!!
